Q: Can I reserve a non-smoking room?

A: The Hougoumont is proud to be a smoke-free venue and all rooms are non-smoking. We have a set smoking area on the ground floor near the lift, past the laneway.

Q: Can I request a room on the upper floors?

A: Yes, we can accept your request, subject to vacancy conditions on the day.

Q: What are your conditions for accommodating children?

A: The room rate is free for children if they share a bed with parents. We do not allow more than one child to share with two adults. Should you have more than one child, you will need to get an extra room or pay for a rollout bed. Extra rollout beds are charged at the adult rate of $35.00. You may only hire one per room (due to fire hazard restrictions). Please note: If you wish to use baby cots, please contact us in advance (charges apply for set up).

Q: Can I store my baggage before check-in or after check-out?

A: We can keep our guests' baggage in the cloakroom on the ground floor—free of charge.

Q: Are Internet connections available?

A: The Hougoumont is proud to offer all our guests free high-speed WiFi.

Q: What amenity goods and equipment are in a guest room?

A: Guest rooms come with luxuries such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion plus luxury towels, linen and your choice of pillow type, as well as complimentary Nespresso coffees and Rubra loose leaf tea.

Q: Where can I park?

A: Parking is located on the western side of the building—enter from Bannister Street.
The capacity is 18 cars—should you have a trailer or two cars, you will need to pay for an extra bay.
Our guests can use the parking for a charge of $25.00 per day from 14:00 on the day of check-in to 14:00 on the day of check-out.

Q: Can I use a credit card for payment?

A: We accept the following credit cards: Mastercard, Diners, AMEX, VISA and Bankcard.

Q: Can I use a gift certificate for payment?

A: We accept Hougoumont-certified certificates only or prepaid travel agent vouchers.
